Mother's Day 2020


When my husband and I heeded the call to come out this way, we whispered Christ's words that we did not come to be served but to SERVE! How wonderful are God's ways in placing us amongst such a nurturing and loving flock. We didn't get sent, we came HOME! 

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to our Women's Ministry for making my first Mother's Day so memorable and fun. Inviting God into any fellowship or function just takes it to another level. I love worshiping alongside other women after God's own heart. Especially during this pandemic, it felt so empowering to worship together.

Look to the hills for whence our help cometh from. I love you all! #teamSialoi

Car Wash Season at SBAOG

Thank you to all our volunteers for your tireless efforts to help our ministry. Now that the weather has warmed up we will start having car washes to help raise funds. We've gone from yard sales to now starting car washes on our property to help raise funds for operating costs.  We thank all our kids and young adults who played a role in our day. Thank you to Ivo and Baylee for these wonderful memories. Our first Mother's Day in our own home. Mother's are the glue that hold a family together. Often, we wear several hats, are underappreciated and unpaid but we would not have it any other way. Love is the root that drives us to do what we do day in and day out. Love & Loss

As our church has experienced great loss at the start of 2022.... I remain consumed by God's love. As our church group prepares to go to Hawaii for SDC, I'm experiencing mixed emotions. But I wanted to pen my feelings to encourage my kin. G R I E F is real and it is different for each of us. I went through a time where I was angry and frustrated and I was expressing this to everyone BUT God. We tend to forget that although God is not a person, He is still the greatest listener. He hears your thoughts and feels your pain. He can handle what you are feeling if you give it to Him. Whether it be pain, anger, numbness, shock or sorrow. Pour your heart out to the Lord and allow peace to take the place of that hurt. Remember, He is T H E R E! L O S S is gain to a believer. Although their presence here among us will be greatly missed.
